MODEL 5071ADAS3 : Central Station Voice Auto-Dialer
General Description:
When the automated flood warning system central station is not attended 24 hours a day, there must be some way to notify off-duty personnel that an alarm condition has been detected. The central station computer voice auto-dialer has been designed to satisfy this need. When an alarm condition is detected by the central station computer software, the auto-dialer is triggered to start dialing preprogrammed numbers. When a person answers the phone call, the auto-dialer states the alarm condition using digitally recorded speech. If no one answers the call, or the answering person does not terminate the calling sequence, the next telephone number is dialed until an authorized person acknowledges the alarm and terminates the calling sequence.
The Model 5071ADAS3 Auto-Dialer uses digitally recorded text segments that are assembled to describe your system name, station names, and sensor descriptions, sensor data values and alarm conditions. This digital recording lets you describe your system information in a voice that is recognizable to you and to your users.
Besides the auto-dial alarm feature the Model 5071ADAS3 Auto-Dialer also supports dial-in interrogation of current sensor data values and alarm conditions. The telephone touch tone keypad is used to select sensor ID numbers, groups of sensors, or request current conditions. The Model 5071ADAS3 Auto-Dialer eliminates the need for a laptop computer to check on your system status from home. |
