MODEL 5054TS-E : Electrically Heated Rain/Snow Gauge Top Section

The Model 5054TS-E Electrically Heated Rain/Snow Gauge Top Section adds a heating element to the standard Model 5054TS Rain Gauge Top Section. The funnel is modified with a thermostat that controls a 400 watt heater attached to an aluminum sand-cast base. The bucket is warmed through conduction with the base heat source while the funnel is warmed by convection. Regulation of the funnel temperature ensures liquid flow through the gauge at extreme low temperatures. A 25 ft. power cable is included.
