MODEL 5096QI : Quadrature Interface

General Description:

The Model 5096QI Quadrature Interface translates quadrature encoder outputs into the standard Model 5096 data transmitter digital port input Form “C” increments and down/up status lines.

Designed to operate at very low current, the Model 5096QI draws less than 300 mA (typical) when connected to the Model 436A Incremental Shaft Encoder. The Model 5096QI is compatible with many industrial encoders and instruments that provide quadrature output. For specific compatibility requirements, consult the factory.

The Model 5096QI standard package configuration is pin-compatible with the Model 5096 digital port and the Model 436A Incremental Shaft Encoder. It is housed in a NEMA-4 enclosure for convenient installation.
