MODEL 5045 — All Weather Rain Gauge
General Description
The Model 5045 All Weather Rain Gauge is designed to measure precipitation as both rain and snow.
The gauges uses proven load cell technology to measure the weight of precipitation that is collected in the rain gauge catch. The rain gauge catch contains environmentally friendly ethanol-glycerin antifreeze which converts frozen precipitation to liquid.
Advanced digital software filtering reduces errors due to wind, vibration and other noises sources. Measurement is unaffected by high precipitation rates. Delivered fully calibrated from the factory.
