MODEL 5071C — Central Station Cables
General Description
It is very important to have the correct cable and connectors when assembling your computer central station equipment. When central station equipment is ordered from HydroLynx as a system, the cabling with required connectors is provided.
RS232 serial protocol defines ports as either DTE (data terminal equipment) or DCE (data communication equipment). DTE equipment can be connected to DCE equipment with a straight-through cable. To connect two DTE or two DCE devices, a null-modem cable or adaptor is required.
