MODEL 5050P : Tipping Bucket Sensor

General Description

The Model 5050P Tipping Bucket Rain Sensor is used in the Model 5054TS Rain Gauge Top Section. The sensor is made of hard anodized aluminum. Self-lubricating nylon bearings provide long term operation. The tipping bucket comes with a bullseye level for simple initial installation. A magnetically operated sealed reed switch provides a reliable SPDT digital signal for transmission by the ALERT Transmitter. HydroLynx tipping buckets are warranted for life to the original purchaser.

± 2% for 50 to 150 mm/hr. (2-6 in./hr.)

± 5% for 150 to 300 mm/hr. (6-12 in./hr.)

Note: % error shown for calibration point of 128 mm/hr.

Output: SPDT pulse (Form "C").

Can be adjusted to momentary SPST NO pulse output.
